Job Description:

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic while providing exceptional care and support to our clients. You will work closely with our providers to help increase efficiency and provide better care for our clients.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist medical professionals in performing cosmetic procedures, including but not limited to laser treatments, injectables, and skincare treatments.

2. Prepare treatment rooms and ensure they are clean, stocked with necessary supplies, and set up for the scheduled procedures.

3. Greet clients warmly, assist them with intake, and address any questions or concerns they may have prior to them seeing the provider.

4. Take detailed client medical histories and document pertinent information accurately.

5. Educate clients on pre and post-treatment care instructions and answer any related inquiries.

6. Perform basic administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing client records.

7. Maintain compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards in the provision of medical services.

8. Collaborate with team members to uphold a positive and professional clinic environment.

Requirements:

1. An active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA) is required.

2. Prior experience in a wellness, dermatology, or aesthetic setting is preferred, but not required.

3. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients.

4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

5. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

6. Commitment to upholding the highest standards of client care and safety.

7. Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies in the field of aesthetics.

8. Familiarity with basic medical terminology and procedures.
